Ngākau Aroha Parenting is a 6-month in-depth professional development learning journey for social welfare and health professionals that has been running since 2021. The journey has had 25 graduates so far from 3 cohorts, and we’re expecting at least 20 graduates from this year’s three cohorts that will be running. Ngākau Aroha is a entirely virtual journey, using a mixture of live Zoom wānanga and independent online learning, so we can have kaimahi join us from across the motu and spread our kaupapa into every rohe in Aotearoa.
iQualify is the online learning platform that we use to share our online lessons for Ngākau Aroha Parenting. They recently wrote an article about how we use iQualify, including how our content is structured, the types of tasks and activities we use and some of our survey insights about the course too.
If you want to get an idea of what the online learning journey looks like, practically, read the full article at iQualify’s website.
